Your leader image is how others view you before you walk into the meeting. It is your leader identity or brand, and it impacts your ability to lead others. 

What others think about you and how they react to your ideas and actions represents the identity that defines your leader image. Effective leaders are effective because the people they lead are willing to "buy" their brand and to implement their ideas.

Michael is a leadership development consultant, keynote speaker and owner of Leaderimage.com. He has PhD in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from George Williams College.
